Here's why the combination works so well: neuromodulators relax the platysma muscle, which runs from the collarbone to the jawline. When this muscle is overactive, it can create visible vertical cords and contribute to a downward, sagging pull on the lower face and neck. Relaxing it allows the opposing muscles to lift the tissue naturally — and with less muscular tension, horizontal necklace lines soften too.
